FAQs This is too techy!  How do I keep it simple? Just dial in to join via telephone.  Instructions are provided below. What equipment do I need to join? Most any internet connected device (Computer, laptop, MAC, tablet) with microphone (camera optional) Smartphone or Cellphone Landline telephone How do I join? Audio Only:  From the Webex invitation, Call the number under “Join by phone” Audio and Video:  From the Webex invitation, click “Join Meeting” link and a Webex page will open in your default browser; from the dropdown included in the “Join Meeting” button, select “Always join from web app” link What if the Desktop app does not launch? From the Webex invitation, click “Join Meeting” link and a Webex page will open in your default browser; click on “Don't have the desktop app? Download it now” link at bottom of web page; follow prompts to install What if I don’t want to be on camera? Audio Only:  From the Webex invitation, Call the number under “Join by phone” Audio and Video:  Before meeting - When at logging in, Select “No Video“ under “Select Video Connection” before clicking on the connect button; you can still see the meeting videos & presentations Audio and Video:  During meeting - Click on camera icon in lower pop-up tool bar to stop your video transmission; you can still see the meeting videos & presentations Why WebEx? It’s free!  Also, Webex allows many different ways to join and does not restrict the conference length.  Most free video conferencing systems have restrictions (e.g., no more than 10 participants, no more than 40 minutes).  Note, most video conferencing application involve some setups. Why not post audio login info in Facebook, etc.? The Webex info will be emailed directly to you to avoid conference “bombing” i.e., interruptions by intruders. Can I share my invite with others?
